Another day in Albuquerque!

Good day yesterday!

Room service breakfast than off to Albuquerque!

Bought clothes at buffalo exchange, did some antiquing, lunch at flying star.

Ran into Dean again?!

Ended our afternoon at a bookstore, how typical.

Drive back to Santa fe-- had a great dinner at the hotel.

Up thus morning with snow coming down like rain!

Busy day

Yesterday morning up early to hit the flea market.

After a couple of hours -- including a very nice but crazy lady accosting me about chemo and breast cancer -- we headed to cowgirls for breakfast. They weren't quite open yet so went to thrift store for a bit.

I horrified myself by not fitting in a skirt...

Had a great breakfast burrito brunch then went to hotel for 15 min break before heading to plaza for window shopping and exploring - another 2 hours on my feet and I was played out.

We rested at hotel before venturing out for dinner at the plaza cafe -- after a fat meal of fish tacos and pie I was done.

Hate that I exhaust easily but everyone else being sick slows them down a bit so that's good!

New Mexico

Good day although T is sick and so he was just barely hanging on and feeling crappy ...

Ruby and I did breakfast in the hotel - tasty blue corn piñon pancakes with apricot honey pecan compote

Brought T oatmeal ...

Then we hit the road after picking up a variety of cold remedies and supportive materials.

Albuquerque antiquing, I got to pick out new jewelry at Evolution, then we did lunch with Sharon and Shawn at El Patio--- nummy good enchiladas and sopapillas!

Then I went shopping at Hey Jhonny and Papers two of my favs in Alb. We went to a last antique shop, -- where the owner remembered me (?) and we ran into an old friend of mine, Dean Squibb.

I find it odd that people remember me even when they can't see my hair and haven't seen me in 5-7 years.

Back to Santa fe and an evening in front of the fireplace.

Made some plans for dinners on the eve and new years day.

Or I could go party without them...Heehee. I'm sure I'm more tired than I realize.

Biggest gifts: getting through chemo and having us together for Xmas.

Third best: all the wishes from friends this a.m.

Fourth best: all the presents!
