Best laid plans...

You ever have one of those moments where you just plan everything a little too well? Yah well guess who booked the hotel for the wrong effing week. That would be this kid, right here.  

T was pretty upset -- we had gotten off the freeway as the electronic warning sign said that an accident was causing extreme delays -- so we had meandered an additional 30 minutes to get there-- tired and hungry we drug ourselves through the door to discover -- ah yah. I'm an idiot. My excuse? I have cancer. It got me a limited one time offer of forgiveness from T. We rapidly chose our second choice ( I thought) hotel and got a room. Or may be it was our third -- this seems now to be in debate...

 

A recommendation from the hotel to a bad restaurant completed our first night in st. Louis.

 

I'm trying to adjust all my carefully laid out plans based on hotel location to our current situation... The other two hotels are all booked -up--

 

T napped off his heavy dinner and is now doing work stuff. I'm ready for a little Netflix and bed. Early morning appt. at 8:10am.

 

This makes me laugh and so I say "I love you lamp"
