Old friends

Some friends are in your life for a short while and some are long term friends but are distant or not very close to your heart. I'm lucky to have a few who I've known a long time and have been there, living in my heart, all the while. Maybe none so much as Dan from MN (he's embarrassed now). He's been my friend since 82; so 30 years. He's seen me grow up. Been there at every bump and joy. Been my friend when no one else seemed to be. No matter how much time between calls or letters; he's been there. Been steady, reliable, never mean, always supportive. For me and my greater family. For always. For his friendship I'm forever grateful. I love him and appreciate him. He sent these comfort gifts for my travels and I'm sure to use them. Xo and though he doesn't get a lot of credit, Bryan you've been there too. Love you both.
