This just in...

Surgeon was very laid back; we both liked him. He was full of weird idiosyncrasies which to me made him more human.

We now have a 2 o'clock appt with plastic surgeon (this a just in case appt; if tests are bad and I opt for big surgery), an appt with a radiological oncologist (for info on apbi a more focused somewhat experimental form of radiation), an MRI, and the medical oncologist (which we knew about before today). So our play time will be less but the reason for being here is panning out...

The genetic testing company called ; ins co just preapproved the test so they haven't even started on it. ARG. Gonna see if st Louis can move then along cuz I can't wait another two weeks --seriously.

Now brunch! A break from the big C.

  2. With these doc additions, your paper plan must have gotten crazy with all kinds of inserts sticking out here and there! So glad to hear you are getting lots of input. Must be overwhelming. HATE the delay on the genetics test!

Like what--? Toe tapping? His monocle kept falling out? He was distracted by the ticking clock until he smashed it on his desk?

These things would put me at ease, too.
