2 down, 8 to go. Self check in, self prep (gowning, 2nd wait room). We were early so a little wait but otherwise they were on time -- quick set up; treatment, and then they allowed me to remove my tape at the top of my sternum (the one that's prevented me from wearing tank tops etc.); yippie!
I did take a nap in between appts. Not sure if related to the treatments or just overall tiredness. Guess we'll see after the second day. My first appts are very early next two days, 6:45am... Yawn.
I also got a phone survey on the care I got this morning--whoa that's fast.
I find that these guys by and large compared to other medical facilities have good systems in place; and so far all but one person have been extremely friendly and helpful.
My boob's hot. Not sure if that's in my head or real or not. Have secured appt. with oncologist on Thurs. morning after treatment and have 2nd follow up with radiation doc on Friday.
Now to find good gourmet icecream within walking distance of hotel.
