Good ice cream, bad art, giant hotel

Well here we are back in the bosom of St. Louis...we had a quick trip with a short detour of Columbia, MO to get gas and a quick drive through their downtown and campus. Ruby's expressed interest in going there...

T graciously turned the car around midway out of Columbia for ice cream... Sparky's homemade ice cream -- really very tasty and amazing bad art collection (I failed to take a photo of the brilliant David Cassidy portrait in the restroom). Lavender honey for me, Honeydew for ruby and a vanilla malt for the man. He kept smacking his lips so it must've been good.

Hotel is great -- quite large -- and after an initial delay on the unload we found our room to our liking. Bedroom, living room, office nook, giant bathroom...

We walked to dinner and ate at a sushi place we had been to before. Caught part of the fountain show.

While the "kids" we're upset when they realized our room isn't in the building where they filmed ghostbusters just next to it-- it's still cool to be this close...
