Small victories

I'm aware that I've received a lot of mail and gifties and later will try to get that post up.

Excited today that I managed to pull the remaining tape off of me (without my skin coming off with it which is likely in the radiated zone). Olive oil seemed to get all the goop off without irritating or drying the skin like alcohol would.

I have "vanicreme" to apply to the effected area everyday for a year. Yes a year. [i quietly hope this vani-sh creme is the last step toward making me invisible]

Once you run out of the Vanicreme you can use just plain cocoa butter.

Next trip is next week already. A Friday appointment for skin check as this is when it is likely your skin starts breaking down due to the cellular disruption caused by the radiation.

The hope is to go and after my appointment go to the city museum (so both kids would come with us) and we'd only have to stay the one extra night. However the entire city is booked that Friday ... So we'll have to see, on a waiting list for the moment.
